Economics and Finance Faculty

The faculty provides education of qualified managers, economists, marketers, accountants and translators.
There are 6 doctors and 41 candidates of specialized sciences.
Students of the faculty of Economics and Finance actively participate in international seminars and student exchange programs in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, China. There is an opportunity to be engaged in research activities in education, as well as simultaneously acquire an additional specialty. After receiving a diploma, students may choose to enrol in masters and doctoral degree programs.

Main disciplines: theoretical foundations of management, human resources management, two foreign languages, management of a tourist enterprise, strategic management, geography of international tourism, advertising and PR in international tourism, guided tours, tour management, economy of a tourist enterprise, foreign economic activity, management psychology, applied marketing, innovation management, computer information technology, accounting, statistics.

Classes in these disciplines are held in modern classrooms equipped with up to date software and hardware.

Professional field of manager’s activity. A manager is a specialist who solves various management tasks to ensure the effective operation of the company and is endowed with communication skills and leadership qualities.
Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at the second stage of higher education (master's degree) in the specialty «Marketing» (including the specialization «Electronic Marketing»).
 

Possible positions: manager-economist, HR-specialist, customer service manager, business consultant, manager in the hotel and tourism business, interpreter-referent.

All nonresident students are provided with comfortable dormitory in the center of the city for the entire period of study.
A unique sports complex with an Olympic pool, an ice arena, a universal gum, a football stadium, Training and Medical Center, cozy cafes and canteens are at the disposal of students.
